Day 1
|
Arrival at Johannesburg International Airport. Take over of rental car.You drive along the Nationalroad N12/N14 eastwards to Nelspruit in Mpumalanga, aptly known as ‘Paradise Country’. Few regions in the world can match the extraordinary beauty of the lowveld and escarpment. Mountains, panoramic passes, valleys, rivers, waterfalls and forests characterise the landscape. This is also Big Game Country, the setting for dozens of sanctuaries teeming with wildlife and birds. Among them, the Kruger National Park is world renowned. Your hotel lies outside White River. – D/B/B.

Day 2
|
This day has been set aside for your to explore the Panorama Route. Drive via Lydenburg and Ohrigstad to the Blyderiver Canyon, God’s Window, the living museum Pilgrim’s Rest, the village is a replica of the early gold mining town, Mac Mac Pools, Bourke’s Luck Potholes and Sabie back to your hotel. – D/B/B

Day 3
|
Early departure to the Kruger National Park, a wilderness experience which ranks with the best in Africa. The sight of elephant, lion, leopard, rhino and buffalo is always a thrill. After an exciting day in the bush, sunset heralds the crackle of campfire, sundowners and shared anecdotes.The main camps have an excellent range of facilities, including licensed restaurants, shops, and swimming pools. Game viewing is easier in winter, but many people prefer the lush vegetation of summer. The park falls within a summer rainfall area. Summer temperatures sometimes exceed 40 degrees C, but winters are generally mild and frost-free. DON’T FORGET YOUR ANTI-MALARIA DRUGS. – OVERNIGHT ONLY-NO MEALS

Day 4
|
Depart the Kruger Park at the Malelane Gate and drive south to Jeppe’s Reef and cross into the Kingdom of Swaziland. Drive past Piggs Peak and Mbabane to the Ezulwini Valley. Look out for the sign to the Ngenya Glasfactory, it is worth a little detour. – B/B HOTEL IN ZWAZILAND

Day 5
|
Today drive back to Lavumisa, the southern border to South Africa, stopping at the Swazi Candle factory. Back in South Africa drive via Mkuzu to Hluhluwe Game Reserve. In the late afternoon a game drive in an open safari vehicle. – B/B - HLUHLUWE

Day 6
|
In the morning depart to Durban. On the way you can stop at Eshowe and visit Shakaland, where the films ‘Shaka Zulu’ and ‘John Ross’ were filmed and today a major tourist attraction. You can experience traditional dancing and learn about the culture of the Zulu people. B/B-Hotel in Durban

Day 7
|
Day at leisure.The Zulu name for Durban is ‘eThekwini’ meaming ‘The place where the Earth and the Ocean meet’. But apart from an effervescent ocean lined with golden beaches, Durban offers a subtropical carnival atmosphere all year round. Within a stone’s throw of the city center, oriental bazaars, fragrant with spice and incense, offer silks, saris, unusual jewellery and ornaments. B/B

The morning is at leisure. Drive to Durban airport. Handing in of rental car. Departure.
